The Dallas Mavericks remain seventh in the Western Conference following a 98-91 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Mavs have yet to secure a playoff spot with just two games separating them from the Houston Rockets, who picked up a 130-110 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers earlier in the day.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 22 points, while both Blake Griffin (17 points, 11 rebounds) and DeAndre Jordan (14 points, 10 rebounds) posted double-doubles.

Dallas spoiled an impressive performance from Raymond Felton, who led the team with 21 points while dishing out five assists and grabbing four rebounds.
