Twitter Reacts as Leicester City Beat Sunderland to Extend Premier League Lead

Tom WebbApr 10, 2016

Leicester City took another step closer to winning the Premier League title with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Sunderland on Sunday.

The first half at the Stadium of Light was a forgettable affair, as the teams scrapped for three points that could prove pivotal at both ends of the table:

"

This game is scrappier than Scooby’s nephew having a fight in a metal yard surrounded by ripped up paper and bits of chip shop batter.

A good half from Sunderland. Space to play in, have dragged Morgan and Huth around a bit, and Kaboul has been very good. #safc #lcfc

You can see the Leicester players are nervous today. They need a hug from Claudio at HT, and to be told he'll love them no matter what.
