Twitter Was Not Impressed by Marcelo's Dive Against Wolfsburg
Real Madrid face an uphill task to qualify for the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after losing 2-0 away to Wolfsburg in the first leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday.
But Zinedine Zidane's side—and one player in particular—had another reason to feel embarrassed after a shameful piece of playacting from left-back Marcelo.
The incident occurred midway through the second half, when Wolfsburg's Maximilian Arnold got a little too close for the Brazilian's liking.

Instead of politely asking him to back away, Marcelo responded by brushing his head against the midfielder's chest before throwing himself to the floor holding his face.
It's fair to say fans on Twitter weren't impressed:

Somehow, Marcelo escaped without punishment, while Arnold received a yellow card. Where is the justice in this world?
