The Miami Heat trounced the Detroit Pistons 107-89 Tuesday night thanks to a superlative performance from Hassan Whiteside. 

In 29 minutes off the bench, the 26-year-old posted 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks to keep the Pistons teetering on the edge of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. 

Goran Dragic led the Heat with 22 points, while Tobias Harris and Reggie Jackson paced Detroit with 21 points apiece.
