Former Kansas Football Player Brandon Bourbon Found Dead

Former Kansas Jayhawks football player Brandon Bourbon was found dead on Friday after a six-day search, the Maries County Sheriff's Office announced, per Chris Lilly of WIBW.

Bourbon was initially reported missing Monday by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Fox4KC.com reported the news, indicating Bourbon was last seen Saturday.

The 24-year-old running back transferred from Kansas to Washburn in 2014. In addition to receiving first-team All-Big 12 academic honors in 2013, Bourbon appeared in 12 games and started six that season.

Bourbon hails from Potosi, Missouri.
