The Charlotte Hornets mounted a late comeback, but it wasn't enough to topple the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Cleveland Cavaliers earned a 112-103 victory at home Sunday.

LeBron James posted a double-double, scoring 31 points and dishing out 12 assists. He was also two rebounds shy of earning a triple-double.

Both Kevin Love and J.R. Smith found their stroke from downtown, combining to shoot 11-of-17 from beyond the arc.

Charlotte wasted a strong performance from Kemba Walker, who finished with 29 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
