Football Match in Brazil Interrupted by Dog on the Pitch, Player Carries It off

Capivariano FC's 2-1 win over Oeste on Wednesday was brought to a temporary halt midway through the first half when a stray dog ran onto the pitch at the Estadio Municipal dos Amaros.

The home side trailed 1-0 when the furry invader made his surprise appearance, plodding its way across the field and away from some half-hearted attempts to grab him.

Clearly the canine didn't want to go anywhere, as it abruptly sat down on the grass and refused to budge until eventually giving in when a Capivariano player picked him up and carried him off the pitch.

Maybe he just wanted to play!
