UK Back Pages: PSG Rumoured to Make Massive £45m Bid for Daniel Sturridge

Silly Season is getting a head start during the international break. 

As it's been a quiet few days with most players off on international duty, the Daily Mail runs an unlikely rumour: Parisian giants Paris Saint-Germain are in for Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge. 

The paper says that PSG are offering up £45 million for the Englishman. It also reports that Roy Hodgson is likely to take Jack Wilshere to the European Championships in spite of him not yet playing a minute in Arsenal's Premier League season:
