Gianluigi Buffon: Has set a Serie A record! He has not conceded a goal in his last 930 mins of action #TorinoJuve

It was almost inevitable.

Juventus stopper Gianluigi Buffon broke Sebastiano Rossi's Serie A record for longest streak without conceding a goal in the fourth minute of the Turin derby on Sunday.

The 38-year-old survived the required 181 seconds after kick-off to make it 930 minutes (and counting) since he last conceded in the Italian league.

Buffon's Juventus maintained their lead at the summit of Italy's top flight with a 4-1 win over Torino, after which the goalkeeper took to Facebook to individually thank each of his team-mates.
