Juventus had it all to do when they visited Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Massimiliano Allegri's side had rallied to come from two goals down in the first leg of their last-16 tie against the German champions but still faced the unenviable task of upsetting Pep Guardiola's side at home:

They gave themselves a decent shot when Paul Pogba took advantage of a rare error by Manuel Neuer in the first half:
And after an extraordinary run by Alvaro Morata, Juan Cuadrado put them two goals up in the tie:
It was all looking rosy as twice Morata went close in the second half:
But then Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern hope:
Sure enough, Thomas Muller ensured a seesaw tie would go into an extra half-hour with a stoppage-time header to square it at 2-2 on the night and 4-4 on aggregate:

Thiago and Kingsley Coman completed the comeback with two goals in two minutes in the second half of extra time:
