Real Madrid Transfer News: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Fuels Rumours
Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has set tongues wagging about a potential move to Real Madrid by admitting that he is eager to play in Spain.
The Gabon international has been widely linked with Los Blancos recently, and German outlet Express (h/t Colin Harvey of the Daily Star) reported that Real will pay €100 million (£77.1 million) for Aubameyang in the summer.
It certainly seems that the forward would be open to a switch to the Bernabeu after revealing his desire to play at Real, although he did insist that no deal is in place, via beIN Sports (h/t Marca):

"Real Madrid? There's no deal in place, but...I promised my granddad I'd play there one day. I've said to myself, "Why go back to France [to potentially join PSG] when I left three years ago [from Saint-Etienne]? Why not discover something new?" Like I've said before, I'd love to play in Spain and to finally enjoy a bit of good weather.

Dortmund have insisted in the past that Aubameyang—whose current contract at Signal Iduna Park runs until 2020—is not for sale at any price.
Club CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke previously said there is "no question" that the 26-year-old's future lies at Dortmund, via Antony Kastrinakis of the Sun.
It is unsurprising that the German outfit are eager to keep hold of Aubameyang. He has been one of Europe's most lethal strikers this season, as noted by Sky Sports Statto:
He would be a terrific addition at Real, though, and history suggests that when the La Liga giants identify a signing they want to bring in, they usually get their man in the end—see the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
With a two-window transfer ban looming over them, Real are going to need to make some big moves in the summer in order to ensure they stay competitive with the likes of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the coming seasons.
They undoubtedly have the funds to tempt Dortmund to part with Aubameyang, and his 2015-16 form has shown that he could be worth every penny, according to ESPN's Alex Shaw:
As can be seen below, he is a superb finisher and can score many different types of goals:
Alongside the likes of Ronaldo, Bale and Karim Benzema, at Real he would add great quality and strength to manager Zinedine Zidane's already impressive forward line.
His latest comments indicate that he would be very much open to the idea of moving to Real, and if they go in for him, it seems unlikely Dortmund will be able to stop him making the switch.
