Medic Drops Stretcher, Player Kicks Stretcher, Player Carried off by Team-Mate

There were farcical scenes in the Israeli second division on Saturday when a medic dropped the stretcher while carrying an injured player off the pitch, leading to another player taking over and carrying his team-mate in his arms.

The calamitous incident occurred a little over an hour into Maccabi Herzliya's clash with Maccabi Ahi Nazareth in Herzliya, when the visitors' Moamen Saleh picked up an injury.

The medics rushed on with a stretcher to help take Saleh off the field only to drop him while doing so.

That led to an angry response from the already-hurt player, who lashed out at the stretcher before being carried off by his equally unimpressed captain, Amjad Sulaiman.
