Real Madrid travelled to Levante on Wednesday looking to bounce back from their defeat to local rivals Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

They took the lead after 33 minutes when Lucas Vazquez was tripped in the penalty box and Cristiano Ronaldo converted from the spot.

It was 2-0 five minutes later when Borja Mayoral's shot hit the post and rebounded back off the helpless goalkeeper.

But the home side struck back almost immediately through Deyverson:

Levante rallied for an equaliser in the second half but Isco made the points safe for Real with a fine finish in added time:
