EPL Results: Tuesday's Week 28 Scores, Updated 2016 Premier League Table, Odds
The biggest winners on Tuesday were Tottenham, as Spurs have the opportunity to go atop the Premier League table for the first time this season with a win at West Ham on Wednesday.
They can thank West Brom for that. The Baggies earned a 2-2 draw against league-leading Leicester City on Tuesday, costing the Foxes two crucial points in their pursuit of a title. The result also gave Arsenal and Manchester City hope, as both clubs attempt to claw back into the title race.
Below, we'll review Tuesday's results, the updated table and championship odds and the implications of Wednesday's fixtures, including a key clash between Liverpool and Manchester City.

It appeared as though Leicester had pulled another rabbit out of their hat. Despite finding themselves in a 1-0 deficit just 11 minutes into the game, Leicester pulled back with a goal from Danny Drinkwater in the 30th minute and took the lead on Andy King's goal just before the half.
But Craig Gardner wasn't interested in being the victim of Leicester's latest magic trick, equalising in the 49th minute on a stunning free-kick. From there, West Brom defended furiously, and the Foxes couldn't quite find the net despite creating opportunity after opportunity.
It was certainly a fun game to watch, as Matt Dickinson of the Times noted:
Former player and current pundit Gary Lineker agreed:
Indeed, Leicester could be considered a bit unlucky. They produced 22 shots (five on goal) and held 65 percent of possession, per WhoScored.com, and as Paul Carr of ESPN noted, the expected score was much different than the final result:
The question for Leicester, however, is whether they are starting to show a bit of vulnerability atop the table. In their last three games, the Foxes have lost to Arsenal, needed a goal in the final moments to defeat a Norwich side currently in the relegation zone and have drawn with West Brom.
In the context of a title run, their recent form is a bit concerning, though you'd hardly know it from manager Claudio Ranieri's post-match reaction, per
"It is the same. I don’t see the title. I watch every match with my team and I want the best. Tonight we made a very good performance and I’m happy. ...
Nothing negative. We tried to do everything and well done to my players. I love this, we never never give up. We always try the best in every situation. Every team plays football and we have to find the solution and try to win. It is important not to lose the match too as they could have counter attacked.
"
And that's a reminder of just what context Leicester should be viewed in at this point of the season. Nobody expected the Foxes to be atop the Premier League table at any point this season, let alone in March. Nobody expected this club to have wins over Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Everton and Chelsea. Nobody expected them to be the league's most entertaining watch, by far, this season.
Yet here we are. In that context, their recent form is a mere blip in a season that has captivated fans of the Premier League and exceeded most people's wildest expectations. And while Leicester is still certainly capable of winning the title, this season will hardly be a failure if they are unable to hold on to the top spot on the table.

The antithesis of Leicester this season has been Chelsea, as the Blues went from being a title favorite to start the season to a team that has spent much of their campaign in the bottom half of the table. The Blues have turned their season around since firing Jose Mourinho, however, and found themselves in eighth place with a 2-1 win over Norwich on Tuesday.
Chelsea, somewhat quietly, have gone unbeaten in Premier League play since losing to Leicester 2-1 on Dec. 14, notching six wins and six draws. For the moment, they are within eight points of fourth-place Manchester City for the last Champions League place.
While erasing eight points with just 10 games remaining will require the Blues to be nearly perfect and will require a few clubs ahead of them to absolutely crumble down the stretch, the fact that the Blues have even a hint of hope for a top-four finish is a testament to the job that interim manager Guus Hiddink has done.
“Everyone knows how we started in December," Hiddink said after the win over Norwich, per Charlie Phillippe of the Express. "We were down in almost the relegation zone, and we had an in-between target to get out of there as soon as possible. We started to do that with draws, and now we’ve won a few games in a row, which is encouraging.”
It probably isn't encouraging for the title contenders who still have to face Chelsea down the stretch.
What was encouraging for clubs like Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City was Leicester's draw. Spurs can go atop the table with a win on Wednesday (on goal differential), while the Gunners can pull within three points with a win and City can get to within seven points (with a game in hand).
At this point, though, it looks like a three-club sprint to the finish. A win over Swansea City on Wednesday and Tottenham on Saturday will put the Gunners right back in the race, while dropping any points this week could be the demise of Arsenal.
In the fight for a Champions League place, meanwhile, Manchester United seems to be the only likely candidate to knock Manchester City out of the top four.
The relegation zone, as always, is much more muddled. While Aston Villa will need a miracle to claw out of the bottom spot on the table, four teams are within three points of one another between 16th and 19th place. Norwich and Newcastle currently reside in the relegation zone, but there promises to be plenty of shuffling at the bottom of the table down the stretch.
