Vietnamese Goalkeeper Saves Penalty, Scores Own Goal from Resulting Corner

Tan Truong Bui's fortunes changed quickly Tuesday when he saved a penalty...before scoring an own goal with a header from the resulting corner.

Bui was playing for Binh Duong away to Tokyo FC in the AFC Champions League when the visitors conceded a penalty with the score level at 1-1 in the second half.

The goalkeeper leapt to his left to pull off a fine save from the spot, but that's where his heroics ended. From the resulting corner, a complete misjudgement resulted in Bui heading the ball into his own net, gifting Tokyo a lead on their way to a 3-1 win.
