Liverpool vs. Manchester City
With the pain from their penalty shootout loss at Wembley likely still smarting, Liverpool will have all the motivation they need to end City's title hopes.
But to do that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will need to devise ways to control the visitors' attacking menace. That means shackling striker Sergio Aguero and diminutive playmaker David Silva. If those two run riot, the Citizens will leave Merseyside with three priceless points.
Liverpool won't want to see Silva on the ball too often, not after the way he exploited them at Wembley, per Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News: "Any doubts that he is back to his best were washed away in a tidal wave of pass-and-move that had Liverpool retreating in bewilderment at times."
Yet, City's key man on the night may end up being Brazilian midfield brute Fernando. The former Porto ace plays a vital role in front of the defence, breaking up attacks and letting Silva and Yaya Toure roam forward.

If Fernando is at his destructive best, City will have the resources they need to secure a significant away win.
West Ham United vs. Tottenham Hotspur
This is another game where a blend of strength and skill in midfield could prove decisive. The question is whether Spurs' pass-master Christian Eriksen can escape the attentions of Mark Noble and Cheikhou Kouyate long enough to influence proceedings in the final third.

Noble and Kouyate are part of a tough and resourceful Hammers midfield that has been the key to the east London club's success this season. Their combination of brawn and industry helps engineer the space for advanced schemer Dimitri Payet to work his magic.
The latter's creativity is the feature of West Ham's approach play, evidenced by five assists in England's top flight this season, per WhoScored.com. Spurs will find the Frenchman difficult to control.
Both City and Spurs will know they can ill afford to fritter away points at a key stage in the title race with games running out. If they do, the complexion of the top of the table will undergo potentially significant changes after Week 28's fixtures.
