The calls for transparency in FIFA's presidential election have been taken a little too literally, it seems.

The Press Association (h/t the Guardian) reported that Jordan's presidential candidate, Prince Ali bin al-Hussein, has sent transparent voting booths to football's governing body that he hopes will be used in Friday's election.

Prince Ali is standing alongside Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al-Khalifa, Tokyo Sexwale, Gianni Infantino and Jerome Champagne.

His suggestion that transparent voting booths be used has reportedly been rejected by FIFA, a decision he hopes to have reversed by having them sent to Zurich in the week.
