Bayless Active vs. Rockets
Monday, Feb. 29
Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel confirmed Bayless will be available off the bench on Monday against Houston.
Bayless Injury Robbed Bucks of Major Outside Threat
Bayless has been Milwaukee's most proficient three-point shooter in 2015-16, hitting shots from beyond the arc at a 43.6 percent clip on an average of 4.6 attempts.
The blend of precise perimeter shooting and ball-handling skills Bayless brings to the floor can't really be matched by anyone in the Bucks' current rotation.
In Bayless' absence, rookie first-round pick Rashad Vaughn saw an expanded role. But some recent lineup shuffling by head coach Jason Kidd did not make Bayless' absence as much of a detriment.
Typical 2-guard Khris Middleton became more of a point forward prior to the All-Star break and continued to play there in Bayless' absence.
