Earlier this week, reports started to circulate that an anonymous buyer, thought to be Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi, had outbid his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo for the world's most expensive car.
But the five-time Ballon d'Or winner took to Instagram on Thursday to rubbish the suggestion that he had dropped €32 million on the 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, which was driven in the 1958 Cuban Grand Prix.
