The Washington Wizards withstood a 33-point third-quarter blitz from the New York Knicks to capture a 111-108 win at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
John Wall was brilliant with 28 points and 17 assists, while Bradley Beal poured in 26 points and Marcin Gortat posted 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Carmelo Anthony poured in 33 points to pace the Knicks in Kurt Rambis' first game as interim head coach.
