Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard have done Major League Soccer's English contingent proud by winning a skills challenge arranged by Sky Sports.

Gerrard and Lampard made the shift across the Atlantic in 2015 after spending a combined 32 years in the first teams of two of the biggest clubs in England, Liverpool and Chelsea, respectively.

The Los Angeles Galaxy and New York City FC midfielders were tasked with knocking one box off another from distance, executing to perfection on their first attempts.

That's more than can be said for Andrea Pirlo, Clint Dempsey and Robbie Keane—though the latter was on target with an attempt at the back of host Geoff Shreeves' head.

As Shreeves said to Pirlo: "Why weren't you like this when you played against England?"
