Punter Wins Bet as 'MSN' and 'BBC' All Score on the Same Day for the 1st Time

One lucky (or savvy) football fan claimed a decent win against the bookies on Sunday, when Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all scored on the same day.

Real Madrid and Barcelona's star-studded front lines are regularly compared for their achievements on the football pitch, but surprisingly, this was the first time all six players scored on the same day since Luis Suarez joined the Catalan club in July 2014.

It was Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo who got the ball rolling at the Bernabeu, sharing the goals as Real secured a 5-1 win over Sporting Gijon. Barca then took over, with Messi, Suarez and Neymar all scoring in a 6-0 thrashing of Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou.

Lots of goals and a tidy £146.25 prize for one successful punter.
