One lucky gamer had the opportunity of a lifetime when he was invited to Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich, where he got to play some of football's biggest stars at FIFA.

To be fair to Abdulaziz Alshehri, he's not just any gamer. He's officially the best FIFA player in the world, having won the FIFA Interactive World Cup in May 2015.

As part of his prize for winning the global event, Alshehri got a special invitation to the prestigious award ceremony, where he met some big names, including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

The 25-year-old Saudi Arabian also got the chance to take on former Ballon d'Or winner Kaka, as well as U.S. women's national team stars Carli Lloyd and Hope Solo, at a game of FIFA.

Being good at video games has its perks after all!
