Nearly two decades after that quote was made famous in The Waterboy, it came into play during the 2016 College Football Playoff Championship Game.

Moments after kicking the game-tying field goal early in the fourth quarter, the Alabama Crimson Tide caught the Clemson Tigers by surprise with an onside kick. 

Alabama took over at midfield with 10:34 to play in the fourth quarter. Just a few plays later, the Crimson Tide took a 31-24 lead on a 51-yard touchdown.

Even Alabama coach Nick Saban couldn't help but smile:

After a sequence like that, it'd be hard not to smile on the Crimson Tide sideline.
