Neymar to Become 1st Footballer to Get His Own Nike Air Jordan Shoe

Traditionally, only a select few basketball players have laid claim to their own Nike Air Jordan shoe model, but now, Neymar is set to join the exclusive club.

According to Esquire, the Barcelona star—pictured above with the brand's inspiration, Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan—will get his own special edition of the shoe in the autumn.

There's no word yet on the colour and design—or whether the shoe will be suitable for football use—but it is a partnership that will certainly excite many trainer aficionados.
