Valero Alamo Bowl 2016: Oregon vs. TCU Live Score and Highlights
TCU 47, Oregon 41 - Final/3OT
Talk about a tale of two halves. The dismal first half that haunted TCU was a disease quickly overcome in the second, and it infected the Horned Frogs' opposition, as Oregon was unable to score again until overtime. Despite the Ducks' attempt to overcome the purple surge in the three extra periods, TCU utilized its momentum and home crowd to seal the electric victory.

Behind the efforts of backup quarterback Bram Kohlhausen, TCU manufactured a second half for the books, as he guided the offense to 31 unanswered points with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter. In the three overtime periods, Kohlhausen continued to work his magic, putting together two touchdowns and a field goal in the Frogs' victory.
Meanwhile, Oregon's near-perfect first half sputtered to a halting stop in the second, as the absence of injured quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. killed all momentum held by the Ducks. Backup Jeff Lockie compiled an underwhelming 36 passing yards, with most of his production coming in overtime.
The conclusion of the game will certainly have some residual effect on the offseason of both programs, especially considering the dramatic finish under the lights of the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas.
