Leicester City and Manchester City played out a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday, as Arsenal were installed as favourites to win the Premier League.

The Gunners are now 6-5 to win the title, according to Oddschecker, after leapfrogging the Foxes in the table.

Arsenal claimed top spot in the Premier League on Monday after comfortably defeating Bournemouth 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Mesut Ozil once again inspired the Gunners to the win as they assume control at the summit.

Manchester United and Chelsea played out a stalemate at Old Trafford in a goalless draw, but the performance might have saved manager Louis van Gaal his job as the Red Devils played in a much higher gear than recent weeks.

Title Odds Recap

The form of Ozil is proving to be the catalyst behind Arsenal's title charge this campaign, as the German international produces his best performances in a Gunners shirt.

The diminutive talent once again weaved his magic for his club as they comfortably defeated plucky Bournemouth 2-0 in north London, as Ozil scored and assisted.

Opta Joe highlighted the midfielder's contribution against the south coast visitors:

Journalist Piers Morgan called the player England's best:

Ozil has elevated Arsenal into a class of their own this season, and besides the huge blip at Southampton where they were soundly thrashed 4-0, the Gunners look like potential Premier League winners.

However, Manchester City remain on their tails in the minds of the bookies and sit at 6-4 to win the title after their goalless draw at Leicester.

The Foxes were not their effervescent selves on Tuesday night as City dominated for large parts of the game.

Raheem Sterling was impressive for the Sky Blues, but City couldn't grab the goal they needed for the vital win.

Tottenham Hotspur retain their position as third favourites for the Premier League, with their odds shortening to 8-1. Harry Kane's goalscoring renaissance has positioned his club firmly in the standings, sitting only four points behind the Gunners.

Leicester hinted their bubble has begun to burst against City on Tuesday, as they start to drift in the betting.

Vardy has suddenly stopped scoring as the Foxes' run at the top comes to an end, and they will find it hard to keep up with City and Arsenal in the second half of the campaign.

United and Liverpool are both outside shouts at 22-1, but the Red Devils showed a marked improvement in form against champions Chelsea at Old Trafford, despite failing to win for an eighth straight match in all competitions.

Wayne Rooney led the charge for United against the Blues at the Theatre of Dreams, and despite Van Gaal's side hitting the woodwork twice, the hosts failed to capture the points.

United sit nine points behind Arsenal in the race, but with plenty of matches remaining, the title picture is not fully complete.

It is difficult to look past Arsenal at present, and the form of Ozil surely makes him favourite to win PFA Player of the Year.

The 27-year-old now has 16 assists in 18 Premier League matches, according to WhoScored.com, and he has provided a consistent feast for Arsenal's attackers to feed from.

Coach Arsene Wenger will be excited by the position of his team at the turn of the year, but he might have to investigate the transfer market in January, as his squad is thin and affected by injuries in key positions.
