NFL TV Schedule 2015: Week 16 Live Stream, TV Coverage Map and Game Times

Brian MaziqueDec 24, 2015

Week 16 in the NFL kicks off Thursday night when the hapless San Diego Chargers (4-10) travel to the Black Hole to take on the not-quite-ready-to-contend Oakland Raiders (6-8). This one will probably draw the attention of only diehard local fans, but the nationally compelling games start Saturday with an all-important NFC East battle.

Washington (7-7) can clinch the division with a win on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles (6-8). While Philly is at home, its most recent performance can't have left it feeling confident heading into the game with Washington.

The Arizona Cardinals came into the City of Brotherly Love on Sunday night and trounced the Eagles 40-17. The loss set up Saturday's elimination game. In Week 15, Washington continued its strong late-season play. A 35-25 victory at home over the Buffalo Bills was its second straight win.

Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson will be facing his old team in this pivotal matchup. Per the team's official Twitter account, Jackson talked about facing his old club and being aware of his current team's recent struggles:

There is some cause for concern for Washington. It is just 1-5 on the road this season. It'll need to buck the trend if it hopes to rack up a division title and potentially rest some players in the season finale. Here's a look at the full Week 16 schedule along with viewing information:

Vikes Looking to Wrap Up a Spot

With a victory Sunday night at home against the New York Giants (6-8), the Minnesota Vikings (9-5) can clinch a playoff spot. There's also a chance they could catch the Green Bay Packers (10-4) and win the NFC North.

The Giants will be playing without star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Per NFL.com's Marc Sessler, the league suspended Beckham for one game because of his actions in his team's 38-35 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Beckham and Panthers cornerback Josh Norman were in several scrums over the course of the contest. The league upheld his suspension despite his appeal, the Giants announced

The Giants' playoff hopes could be dashed by the time they take the field, though. If Washington beats the Eagles on Saturday, New York will already be eliminated.

Bengals on the Hunt for Division Title and First-Round Bye

We finally have a Monday night matchup that is interesting. In the 2015 season finale of the iconic Monday Night Football series, the Cincinnati Bengals (11-3) can clinch the AFC North and a first-round bye if they can hand the Denver Broncos (10-4) their third straight loss.

The Broncos lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-27 in Week 15, as Denver's vaunted defense had no answer for wideout Antonio Brown. The Steelers wide receiver had 16 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns. Per ESPN.com's Jeff Legwold, the Broncos are sticking with Brock Osweiler at quarterback despite the recent skid and Peyton Manning's improving health.

Both teams will have their backup quarterbacks on the field, as the Bengals' AJ McCarron is still filling in for the injured Andy Dalton. If Denver wins, it can clinch a playoff spot if the Steelers (9-5) lose on the road to the Baltimore Ravens or if the New York Jets (9-5) fall to the New England Patriots at home.

In any case, this is probably the biggest game of the week, and it's happening on Monday night, as it should be.
