Barcelona vs. Guangzhou: Goals, Highlights from the Club World Cup Semi-Final

A Barcelona side without Leo Messi went into their Club World Cup semi-final against Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande on Thursday.

Frustrated in the early stages, Barca took the lead through Luis Suarez in the 39th minute after the Guangzhou goalkeeper couldn't hold Ivan Rakitic's stinging shot.

They had Claudio Bravo to thank for keeping them in the lead at half-time, with the goalkeeper diving to his right to prevent Guangzhou making an immediate response.

Barcelona didn't look back, Suarez combining with Andres Iniesta, who set the Uruguayan up brilliantly to poke home his second.

Shortly after, Suarez completed his hat trick from the penalty spot.

That was how it finished, Luis Suarez and Barcelona romping to Sunday's final against River Plate.
