Olivier Giroud rightfully stole the headlines for his hat-trick heroics in the Champions League on Wednesday night, but under-fire Louis van Gaal's negative press continues in the aftermath of Manchester United crashing out of Europe's top competition.

As United are faced with life in the Europa League while middling through the Premier League, Van Gaal's job status is coming into serious question.

Star Sport reports that Van Gaal has to win the Premier League this year or he'll be out of a job at Old Trafford.
