Golden State Warriors vs. Indiana Pacers: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Andy BaileyDec 8, 2015

Behind a monster shooting performance from Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors (23-0) cruised to a victory over the Indiana Pacers (12-8), 131-123 on Tuesday.

Thompson led the Warriors with 39 points on 13-of-21 shooting, including 10-of-16 from three-point range. He scored 29 in the first half alone.

He wound up leaving the game with an ankle injury, though. After the Warriors bench was unable to protect a 30-point lead in the fourth quarter, coach Luke Walton was forced to bring his starters back into the game. Thompson then sprained his ankle trying to contest a layup from Chase Budinger.

Nagging injuries to Thompson and Harrison Barnes (who sat out Tuesday with a sprained ankle of his own) and Golden State's bench may be the team's only weaknesses.

Even with the late collapse, though, the Warriors were able to win fairly comfortably.

Stephen Curry answered the Pacers' run with some key shots late, finishing with 29 points on 11-of-23 shooting. He and Thompson were joined in double figures by Andrew Bogut, Brandon Rush and Festus Ezeli.

The Pacers, meanwhile, were led by Paul George, who scored 33 points on 11-of-27 shooting. C.J. Miles added 24, hitting 5-of-11 from three-point range.

Indiana will get its shot at revenge on January 22 on Golden State's home floor at Oracle Arena.
