Warriors' Harrison Barnes Trolls Stephen Curry After UNC Beats Davidson

Kyle NewportDec 7, 2015

Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors (22-0) and his hometown Carolina Panthers (12-0) are both undefeated a week into December, so he is feeling pretty good about sports right now.

However, Golden State's Harrison Barnes brought his teammate down to earth with a friendly reminder of what happened when the two players' alma maters met on the court this past weekend.

After the Panthers won a wild one against the New Orleans Saints, 41-38, and the Warriors pulled away for a 114-98 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, Curry channeled his inner Draymond Green on Twitter on Sunday:

Curry is obviously loving being a Carolina fan these days. The Panthers are currently the best team in the NFL, and quarterback Cam Newton has to be the front-runner for the MVP award. The North Carolina native has reason be proud of his team.

Although the Warriors and Panthers have yet to lose this season, one of Curry's teams did suffer a loss this weekend—and Barnes, who is out with an ankle injury, was able to use the 2014-15 NBA MVP's tweet against him to do some masterful trolling:

Barnes' North Carolina Tar Heels handed Curry's Davidson Wildcats their first loss of the season Sunday, cruising to a 98-65 victory.

Sorry, Curry. Barnes got the best of you on this one.
