EPL Table: 2015 Top Scorers, Standings After Post-Week 15 Premier League Scores
Leicester City's incredible run at the summit of the Premier League continued on Saturday. The Foxes defeated Swansea City in south Wales, running out 3-0 winners, with a hat-trick from Riyad Mahrez.
There were no goals for the prolific Jamie Vardy, but the striker continues to lead the English league scoring charts in 2015-16.
Defeats for Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool surprised a collection of big clubs in the Premier League this week, with all three teams losing to inferior opposition.

Mahrez in the Shop Window After Hat-Trick

Leicester City's meteoric rise to the top of the Premier League has coincided with Jamie Vardy's elevation from lower-league striker to England's finest.
However, Riyad Mahrez's form has not gone unnoticed, and the brilliant attacking midfielder has been one of the standout performers in Europe this term.
The 24-year-old Algerian fired the Foxes clear above Arsenal and both Manchester clubs in the league with a clinical hat-trick against Swansea City, taking the player to double figures for the campaign.
Mahrez has 10 goals and six assists in 14 Premier League appearances this season, according to WhoScored.com, and he has emerged as a surprise January target for Manchester United, per Tom Sheen of the Independent.

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson said he thinks the vultures will be circling above the King Power Stadium in the weeks to come, and the former Gunner believes the top two scorers in the league, as well as Danny Drinkwater, will be vulnerable to approaches:
"Mahrez won't be having a little career if he plays like that every week. The problem will be January because this lad's going to be wanted.
Vardy's going to be wanted. Drinkwater is a very good player. It wouldn't surprise me if somebody came and bought him. There aren't too many better centre midfield players at the moment than him.
"

Vardy's goalscoring run finally ended on Saturday as Leicester overpowered the Swans, but he was influential in Mahrez's goals and could have had a hat-trick himself.
If both players remain at Leicester in January, the side have an unprecedented shot at finishing in the European qualification places at the end of the season, beating the odds for a team associated with relegation struggles.
However, the east Midlands ship could sink as quickly as it has risen if the attackers find pastures new, leaving manager Claudio Rainieri with an impossible void to fill.
Wijnaldum Continues To Find The Net

Newcastle haven't looked like their previous incarnations—in the days of excitement and title challenges—this season, but one bright spark has been Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Dutch attacker has not been able to lift the Geordies on a weekly basis, but his cameos have been the highlight of the season for manager Steve McClaren.
Wijnaldum was at it again on Sunday as Newcastle shocked Liverpool 2-0 at St. James' Park.
The Reds were far from their best and struggled to create, but the work of Wijnaldum earned him a goal and an assist, according to WhoScored.

The Dutchman has the knack of finding the space traditionally occupied by a No. 10, but he has the finish and tenacity of a No. 9 in front of goal.
The strike takes Wijnaldum to joint-seventh in the scoring charts, level with Manchester City's Sergio Aguero on seven goals.
The win lifts Newcastle back above Sunderland in the relegation zone and much closer to the pack just above the north-east pair.
Wijnaldum has proved he is one of the most exciting new players to arrive in England this year, after his transfer from PSV Eindhoven, and a strong Christmas period could see him dining in the same company as Mahrez and Vardy: wanted by the biggest clubs in Europe during the winter transfer window.
All three players could operate for title-chasing clubs, but their current teams rely on them greatly, meaning huge transfer fees would be of little use in the short term.
