
Valencia Confirm Death of Fan After Barcelona Match
Valencia have announced that a fan died following their 1-1 draw with Barcelona at the Mestalla on Saturday.
The club posted the following statement on their official website: "Valencia CF were sad to learn of the death of a fan following the match at Mestalla on Saturday night. The club wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased."
According to Marca (h/t Football Espana), the unnamed supporter was 43 years old and collapsed while celebrating Los Che's late equaliser and "fell to his death at around 11 p.m. GMT as doctors failed to revive him."

Barcelona took the lead through Luis Suarez shortly before the hour mark. However, the hosts equalised through Santi Mina with just four minutes of normal time remaining.
