Jese Progression Halted by Lack of Playing Time
Being in and out of the senior squad so often has certainly stunted Jese's development. It's a shame for a player blessed with electric pace, particularly over the first five yards. He's also shown evidence of a keen eye for goal.
Jese's playing time is unlikely to improve with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale currently playing ahead of him. Like Alvaro Morata (now at Juventus), he may need to look elsewhere in order to reach his potential.
