College Football Picks Week 13: Latest Top 25 Odds and Final-Score Predictions

Joe PantornoNov 27, 2015

Week 12 proved to be treacherous for two of the nation's Top Four teams despite one of them winning, as two new schools have made their way into the playoff spots with one week to go in the regular season.

With one more chance to impress the College Football Playoff committee before conference championship play, good impressions are vital for teams along the Top 10 that aren't competing for a conference.

Here are the current College Football Playoff rankings:

Oklahoma and Iowa made their debuts in the Top Four at three and four, respectively. Ohio State, originally No. 3, dropped to eighth after losing to Michigan State, while Notre Dame sunk to sixth from fourth after a close win over Boston College.

Each school, excluding Iowa, has a big-time game to play that is worthy of Game of the Week honors. Only one can grab that title, but first, let's take a look at the upcoming Week 13 schedule for the Top 25 teams in the CFP rankings with the latest odds, courtesy of OddsShark.com, and predictions for the final score of each game.

Game of the Week

No. 3 Oklahoma at No. 11 Oklahoma State

This game could have been even larger had Oklahoma State defeated Baylor, but regardless of last week's results, this edition of Bedlam might be the biggest ever, as it will decide who wins the Big 12 Conference.

If Oklahoma wins, it will cement itself in the Top Four and in the playoff. If Oklahoma State wins, it will need Baylor to lose to TCU to win the conference.

History is in favor of the Sooners, as ESPN College Football points out:

Both offenses can put up points at will. Oklahoma scores over 44 points per game, while Oklahoma State tallies over 42. Just take a look at their offensive statistics heading into Week 13:

44.6Points Per Game42.8
544.6Total Yards Per Game492.5
319.5Yards Passing360.3
225.1Yards Rushing132.2

With a shootout in the Midwest expected, it's going to come down to which defense can come up with more stops. It's Oklahoma that looks like it has a better chance to do so, allowing six points and 80 yards less per game.

Add that to a more balanced offensive attack led by quarterback Baker Mayfield and running back Samaje Perine, and the Sooners will pull this game out on the road.

Prediction: Oklahoma defeats Oklahoma State 40-37
