Sol Campbell Complains About Service at Cafe, Internet Fights Back

Tom WebbJun 8, 2018

Twitter can be a risky place to complain if you're a multimillionaire former footballer, as Sol Campbell learned the hard way on Wednesday.

The former England defender took to social media to complain about the service he received at the Cambridge Street Cafe in London—even going as far as naming the guilty employee—only to get emphatically shouted down:

"

@SolManOfficial @CambridgeStCafe Trying to lose someone their job exactly a month before Christmas? Why not just have a polite word? Grass.

"

@SolManOfficial @CambridgeStCafe grass

"

Let's all go to @CambridgeStCafe if they promise to bar @SolManOfficial for life

"

@SolManOfficial @CambridgeStCafe whats your problem with Liam,did he join Cambridge Street cafe from their arch rivals?No loyalty these days

— Dean (@deanofsurrey) November 25, 2015"

It wasn't long before the employee responded:

"

@SolManOfficial Liam here. Think we got off on the wrong foot. Would love to make amends. Hopefully see you soon
