Twitter Reacts as Liverpool Put Four Past Manchester City
Liverpool produced their best performance to date under new(ish) manager Jurgen Klopp to blow away a shell-shocked Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
It didn't take long for the visitors to go ahead, with City defender Eliaquim Mangala turning into his own net in comedic fashion in the eighth minute:

Shortly after and Liverpool doubled their lead, with Philippe Coutinho beating Joe Hart in the City goal:

"2-0 Liverpool. Demichelis and Mangala get in a tangle and Firmino crosses for Coutinho to sweep shot between Hart's legs.

But Klopp's side weren't done yet. Roberto Firmino capped off a brilliant first half performance with a goal following Emre Can's cheeky pass to release Coutinho. It was not going well for Raheem Sterling following his controversial move from Anfield in the summer:

"This is insane stuff. Coutinho, Firmino and - to a lesser extent - Lallana all so sharp in penetrating City's suspect defence. #LFC

City responded with a goal of their own through Sergio Aguero:

— Chu Morah (@ChuBoi) November 21, 2015"
"Where there's Aguero there's hope.
— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 21, 2015"
The second half was less eventful, that was until Martin Skrtel stunned even his own fans with a thunderous volley to make sure of the points:
"4-1. You know it's not your day when Martin Skrtel is slamming shots into the top corner from 18 yards.

""Sterling, what's the score?" sing the Liverpool fans.

Liverpool safely negotiated the closing stages to record a mightily impressive win.
