Emil Forsberg's pin-point strike gave Sweden a half-time lead in their Euro 2016 first leg qualifier with Denmark.

The RB Leipzig midfielder finished first time to complete a brilliant passing move and give the home side a deserved lead.

It could have been a different story altogether had Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner found the target just moments earlier, but his wastefulness was quickly punished by Forsberg to ensure Sweden led at the break.

The second half started much like the first had ended, as Thomas Kahlenberg fouled Forsberg in the , and Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up to double Sweden's lead from the spot.

Sweden looked set to take a two goal advantage into the second leg, before a Denmark corner was turned in at the back post by Nicolai Jorgensen to give the Danes what could be a priceless away goal.
