It could have been 15 years ago, as a pinpoint David Beckham cross found the head of Paul Scholes for the opening goal in the UNICEF Match for Children at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The retired England duo combined to make it 1-0 for Great Britain and Ireland against the Rest of the World, and it was a trademark run from Scholes that made the difference.
In the second half, the former Manchester United duo were involved again. Beckham's back-post cross found Scholes, whose cutback was bundled home by Michael Owen.
