Ronaldinho Says Neymar Could Become Greatest Player in World
Former Barcelona star and current Fluminense man Ronaldinho had high praise for Neymar when interviewed by Barcelona's website on Wednesday.
"[He] could become the greatest player in the world," Ronaldinho said. "He’s phenomenal. It’s a joy to see another Brazilian making history.”
Neymar, 23, has been fantastic this season for Barcelona, scoring 11 goals and adding three assists in 10 La Liga games. His 8.63 average match rating from WhoScored.com is the top mark in La Liga. He has also added two goals and three assists in four Champions League matches.

Neymar has combined with forward Luis Suarez to give Barca one of the most dynamic attacks in the world despite the knee injury to star Lionel Messi, who has traditionally been the centrepiece of the Catalans' attack.
Neymar has also proved to be Brazil's most formidable player on the international stage and appears to be maturing as a player, making his upside nearly unlimited.
Ronaldinho offered high praise, indeed. But given the way Neymar has played this year, it wasn't an unrealistic evaluation.
