Daily Fantasy College Football Week 11: DraftKings Optimum Lineup, Matchup Guide
A weekend after some monumental upsets in college football, Week 11 is set to fire up in daily fantasy. There are countless great matchups between the early and late games, but picking the right ones will make all the difference.
Unlike the NFL, only quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers are used in college football. Before picking out your lineup for DraftKings, make sure to consider these matchups and targets for your optimum lineup.

QB Analysis
Starting DeShone Kizer wasn't the initial plan for Notre Dame, but he's certainly filled the position. Well, he's done more than just fill the spot. The sophomore signal-caller is thriving for the Fighting Irish, with his last two games proving that point.
Kizer crushed Temple and Pittsburgh in consecutive games, scoring a total of nine touchdowns. His three turnovers during that span may be troubling, but he still averaged over 39 points per game the last two weeks. Facing a porous Wake Forest defense, Kizer is the QB to target in any early lineup.
Late rosters will want to include California quarterback Jared Goff. The once-prized prospect has been somewhat shaky this season but has seven passing touchdowns in his last three games. Facing off with Oregon State's 71st-ranked passing defense that has allowed 13 touchdowns, Goff is worth the $7,300 tag as a QB1.
RB Analysis
Jordan Canzeri suffered an ankle injury this season but is finally set to return this Saturday. Prior to his injury, Iowa's top running back's price topped out at $6,700 on DraftKings. His salary point has dropped dramatically, but his 25.2 DFS-points-per-game average makes him a prime RB2 target.
Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz commented recently on the health of Canzeri, per John Bohnenkamp of the Hawk Eye:
Over his last three full games, Canzeri averaged 177 yards per game with six total touchdowns. Facing off with a Minnesota defense that has allowed an average of 158 yards over the last two games, suffice to say the Gophers should have their hands full with Canzeri.
For the second straight week, UNC's Elijah Hood is a prime candidate for a low-price No. 1 running back. While his price went up by nearly $1,000, his recent production warrants the $6,600 tag. Coming off a three-touchdown performance, Hood will have a field day against a ravaged Miami defense.
WR Analysis
If you don't know about Jaylen Samuels yet, you gone learn today. The NC State sophomore is a multitooled player who actually never serves as a wide receiver. Thankfully, DraftKings owners can still target him as a WR2 and get guaranteed touches from the Wolfpack's starting running back.
Last week, NC State announced leading running back Matt Dayes is out for the season with a foot injury. Samuels, normally slotted as a tight end, stepped up with 70 yards and a touchdown against Boston College. He wasn't asked to do much against an inferior opponent, but he will carry the load on Saturday against Florida State.
In later lineups, owners will look to UCLA's Jordan Payton as a low-end WR1 or high-end WR2. Averaging nearly 90 receiving yards per game over the last three starts, Payton simply needs a touchdown to drive his price up. Look for him to get his fifth score of the season against Washington State in a huge game.
