Arouna Kone (17 points), Romelu Lukaku (12 points) and Gerard Deulofeu (12 points)
You'll be hard-pressed to find many fantasy owners who banked on Arouna Kone to save their team this week, but the 31-year-old came through in a big way, scoring a hat-trick and adding an assist on his way to 17 points.
Per Bleacher Report UK, the Ivorian's fantastic outing was a bit of an anomaly:
Kone put together a fantastic performance in the attacking third, chasing the ball with energy and consistently troubling the Sunderland defence. He did far more than just score the ball, but naturally, fantasy owners are more interested in his numbers than his play.
As shared by the club's official Twitter account, manager Roberto Martinez rightly praised the veteran:
The Black Cats didn't exactly make things hard on the Toffees' forwards, proving their first win of the season against Newcastle was little more than a fluke. Communication was a major issue, with the full-backs getting caught out of position routinely.
That shouldn't take away from Everton's performance, however, and particularly those of Gerard Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku. Both scored once and added two assists, finding plenty of success out wide and cutting inside.
Lukaku's production took a dip after his goal in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool early October, but the Belgian was always likely to bounce back, as he remains one of the more consistent forwards in the Premier League.
Per WhoScored.com, he's been involved in just under one goal per match this season:
With six goals in 11 matches, Lukaku joins a host of players currently tied for fourth place in the top scorer's rankings. He remains an intriguing option given his solid track record, even if the hot form of Leicester City's Jamie Vardy and Watford's Odion Ighalo is hard to ignore.
It's too early to start talking about Deulofeu as a rising star in fantasy, but the former Barcelona man continues to improve with every passing week, and it's starting to show in his production.
Deulofeu's magnificent performances was somewhat overshadowed by an ugly dive that had fans and pundits alike scratching their heads, but per BBC Sport's Phil McNulty, he made up for it with his passing, including one assist in particular that stood out, handing Lukaku his goal:
Despite his stunning performance, Deulofeu remains a difficult player to gauge as far as fantasy value goes. The 21-year-old is often subbed out of matches relatively early in the second half, and while he seems to have locked down the starting position on the right side, he came off the bench for the Toffees as recently as the loss against Manchester United.
Kone was Sunday's biggest star, but prior to his 17-point explosion, he hadn't scored or handed out an assist since the 3-2 win over West Bromwich Albion in September. Everton's next outing will be at West Ham United, which isn't a particularly appealing matchup, so caution is advised, regardless of which player you wish to field.
