Wayne Rooney's Head Is Cut Open After Clash with Kompany During Manchester Derby

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney suffered a fairly impressive cut on his head in the first half of United's derby against Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The gash appeared to have been the result of a clash with City defender Vincent Kompany, and Rooney was promptly stapled back together on the sidelines.

Fans watching on were equal parts impressed and disgusted as the captain's makeshift operation went on at the touchline.
