Williams Suffers Scary Injury vs. Auburn

Saturday, Oct. 24

Williams went down and was unable to get up after being tackled near the sidelines late in the third quarter of Saturday's game.

He was ultimately carted off the field and taken to the hospital for "precautionary reasons," and SEC Network reported he was seen communicating with trainers, per Brandon Marcello of AL.com.

According to Marcello, SEC Network reported Williams was diagnosed with a neck injury and that he had movement in all extremities.

As seen in this photo courtesy of Razorback Nation, Williams' teammates gathered around him after the injury occurred out of concern for the talented youngster's well-being:

Also, Arkansas running back Alex Collins paid tribute to Williams by flashing a No. 22 with his fingers after scoring to put the Razorbacks on top 21-14, per SEC Network:

While Williams recovers, Collins, the Razorbacks' leading rusher, will likely be asked to take on an even greater workload moving forward.
