Celta Vigo vs. Real Madrid: Goals, Highlights from the 2015 La Liga Game

Real Madrid and Celta Vigo met on Saturday afternoon in an unlikely top-of-the-table La Liga clash.

Celta Vigo took on the only other remaining unbeaten side in the league in a match that was sure to test their title credentials.

They were up against it early on when the visitors took the lead, and it was a familiar face with the opener.

 Danilo doubled the advantage after 23 minutes to put Real Madrid in command early on.

Things went from bad to worse for the home side after the break, with Gustavo Cabral dismissed for a second yellow card just before the hour mark.

They were nearly back in the game after 73 minutes, but Marcelo saved the day for Madrid, clearing Nolito's effort off the line.

Though with five minutes to play, the Spaniard had the ten men back in the contest with the goal of the game.

But the comeback never eventuated, Marcelo finishing the job in stoppage time from close range.

Real Madrid held on to win 3-1 and extend their lead at the top of La Liga table.
