Cristiano Ronaldo Fronts Campaign to Encourage Young People to Give Blood

Ever wondered why Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't have any tattoos? It's because he regularly gives blood and therefore doesn't engage in any activity that may jeopardise that (per Diretta News, h/t Yahoo Sports). 

The Real Madrid superstar has now become the face of a new campaign to encourage young people to become blood donors. 

“We can all make a difference by donating blood," he said, according to James Whaling of the Mirror. "Each donation can benefit up to three people in emergency situations and for long-term medical treatments.”

Ronaldo has been giving blood for more than six years, a practise he was encouraged to participate in after a team-mate struggled to find a bone marrow donor for his son.
