Daily Fantasy Football Week 7: Ideal Last-Minute Draftkings Picks
Between breakout stars yet to see their price get out of hand and established players ready to bounce back, there is plenty of value across the board in daily fantasy football for Week 7.
Whether you plan on starting a contest on Thursday or waiting until the action picks up on Sunday, here is a look at the best picks to make throughout the weekend.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈

For those who compete in contests starting on Thursday, Russell Wilson could be one of the best quarterback options of the week.
It's true Wilson has been one of the more disappointing fantasy players this season with only one multi-touchdown game and zero 300-yard efforts. However, he remains a safe option thanks to his running ability, averaging 41.8 yards per game.
This week could also be his chance to shine in the passing attack against a San Francisco 49ers defense allowing the most passing yards per game (306) in the NFL.
Wilson's struggles have led to his price dropping each week from $7,800 in Week 1. Now he actually has great value with an outstanding matchup to lead fantasy teams.
Todd Gurley, RB, St. Louis Rams ($5,000)
Sometimes the popular play isn't necessarily the wrong one. Todd Gurley will be in a lot of lineups this week, but that is only because DraftKings seemingly hasn't caught up to how good the rookie running back can be.
Gurley has 305 rushing yards in his last two games and will now face the league's worst run defense in the Cleveland Browns, a squad allowing 149.8 yards per game on the ground.
This type of matchup has led ESPN's Matthew Berry to name Gurley the top flex play in all of football this week:
Despite the hype, Gurley is still only valued at $5,000. This is only slightly ahead of Thomas Rawls ($4,800), who had just one carry last week with Marshawn Lynch back in the lineup. He will be an extremely common pick in Week 7, but you don't want to be left behind.
Dexter McCluster, RB, Tennessee Titans ($3,300)
After pointing out an obvious pick with Gurley, let's go much more off the grid with a sleeper pick in Dexter McCluster.
The Tennessee Titans have a few different choices in the backfield with Antonio Andrews and Bishop Sankey getting snaps, but there is more confusion about who will play quarterback this week. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports believes Zach Mettenberger will get the start over the injured Marcus Mariota:
As a result, the Titans will have to rely more on the run and short passes. This could lead to more touches for McCluster, who is not only the team's most efficient running back at 5.2 yards per carry, but also the best receiver out of the backfield.
This could be useful because the Atlanta Falcons have allowed the most fantasy points in the NFL with DraftKings scoring. According to ESPN, the defense has allowed opposing running backs to catch 58 balls out of the backfield, by far the most in the NFL.
McCluster could get a bunch of catches and yards to rack up the fantasy points for extremely cheap.
Jarvis Landry, WR, Miami Dolphins ($6,200)

The Miami Dolphins were winning for a change, and new coach Dan Campbell wanted to establish the run, which led to a quiet day for Jarvis Landry in the passing game. He finished with three catches for 42 yards, bringing his total over the last two games to just 82 yards on seven catches.
It wouldn't be surprising to see the hype slow on an early-season favorite.
However, the Dolphins still found ways to get Landry the ball, and he responded with a 22-yard touchdown run. Of course, he is still the team's top receiving threat and should get back to his high reception ways before long.
With Miami showcasing a better overall offense after the bye and an upcoming matchup against an inconsistent Houston Texans defense, Landry should once again have great value in a points-per-reception contest.
Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota Vikings ($4,200)
You can doubt the hot start if you want, but Stefon Diggs is a legitimate threat at wide receiver going forward. The rookie totaled seven catches for 129 yards in Week 6 and appears ready to take over a starting job in Minnesota.
One of the players he is overshadowing is veteran Mike Wallace, who had nothing but great things to say about his teammate. Wallace even compared him to former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Antonio Brown, per Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune:
"You can tell from Day One who can play football or not. They have some exceptions where guys get better drastically over time. But for the most part, you can tell from Day One, can he play or can he not play? And I always felt like he could from Day One. ...Just the skill set, the way he runs his routes, the energy that he has. It reminds me of him.
"
Despite falling to the fifth round of the NFL draft, Diggs is the total package at receiver and is now getting his chance to show what he can do. As a result, you should draft him to your daily fantasy team before the price starts getting out of control.
