2016 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Week 5 Breakdown
We're more than a quarter of the way through the 2015 NFL season, but the draft order is still very much in flux.
While there is a group of teams jockeying for position within the top 10, no one has established themselves as a clear favorite for the No. 1 pick.
With that in mind, don't focus too much on the draft order at this stage of the process. The teams will shuffle around slightly, but the 2016 draft class already has a clear group of favorites to go in the upper half of the first round.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: DL Joey Bosa

Things are starting to come together for the Jaguars on offense, but the defensive side of the ball remains an issue.
Defensive end Ryan Davis currently leads the Jaguars with 2.5 sacks, followed by defensive lineman Roy Miller and cornerback Aaron Colvin with two apiece. Yes, the Jaguars starting cornerback is among their team leaders in sacks.
Joey Bosa is among the most dominant pass-rushers in the college game, lining up at end and occasionally at tackle for Ohio State.
"Ohio State DE Joey Bosa had a sack, four hits, and five hurries on only 31 rushes against Maryland.

With his combination of strength and agility, Bosa plays with a J.J. Watt-like style and should make a smooth transition to the NFL.
4. Houston Texans: QB Jared Goff

Things didn't go so well for Goff Saturday night against Utah. The junior quarterback tossed five interceptions in Cal's first loss of the season.
Obviously Goff could have made a better impression in his first real shot to impress in front of a national audience, but NFL scouts aren't going to be turned off by one disappointing game.
The majority of Goff's mistakes were related to poor decisions, which is more fixable than a quarterback who throws interceptions due to accuracy issues.
"The more I watch Jared Goff, the more I see a legitimate No. 1 pick overall. Better looking prospect than Jameis Winston, IMO. #NFLDraft

We're only a few months removed from the Tamp Bay Buccaneers selecting Jameis Winston No. 1 overall after he threw 18 interceptions, so it shouldn't be too difficult to imagine Goff remaining in the conversation as a top-five pick.
If Goff is on the board when Houston is on the clock, it will be tough for head coach Bill O'Brien to pass on the 6'4" signal-caller. His waffling between Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett has made it clear the Texans' quarterback of the future isn't on the current roster.
23. Carolina Panthers: WR Josh Doctson

Doctson was certainly on the radar entering the year, but his record-setting performance this season has elevated his draft stock to a new level.
"Josh Doctson has a large lead in the Biletnikoff race and that’s saying something with a ton of good wideouts this season.
— Bryan Fischer (@BryanDFischer) October 10, 2015"
What has made Docston stand out this season is his ability to win the battle for contested balls.
Docston had demonstrated his speed in years past, but his leaping ability and timing in contested situations has given him the ability to win in multiple areas on the field.
The Panthers have gotten by with Ted Ginn Jr. as their top receiver this season, but the team needs to upgrade the talent around Cam Newton. A healthy Devin Funchess will help, but the talent depth at the position is lacking. Doctson would be a major upgrade.
