Manchester United vs. Wolfsburg: Starting XIs, Teams from 2015 Champions League

Manchester United will be hoping to carry their strong domestic form into the Champions League on Wednesday, as they welcome Bundesliga side Wolfsburg to Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils went top of the Premier League with a win over Sunderland at the weekend, and there's definitely a feel-good factor around the club at the moment. Here’s the XI the Dutchman has named for this European clash, per the club’s Twitter feed:

Wolfsburg have enjoyed a solid start of their own despite the loss of some key players last summer. This is Dieter Hecking’s XI for the critical Champions League clash, per Wolfsburg's official Twitter account:

United lost their first game of the group stage 2-1 to PSV Eindhoven, meaning there is pressure on them to get a result here. Wolfsburg may no longer be able to call upon Kevin De Bruyne and Ivan Perisic, but in Ricardo Rodriguez and Bas Dost, they have players well capable of causing big problems for the hosts.
